Transmission Indicator Light Hook-up
Trying to get my 68's transmission indicator light to work. Took it out, replaced bulb, added a new ground wire (old one destroyed), tested it on battery (worked perfectly), hooked up ground to original location in front of shifter, and plugged it in. Won't come on. The single red plug (blue-red stripe wire) I have it plugged in to comes out right above the fuse box (where it was hooked to when I first got the car). Could I possibly have it plugged into the wrong plug. Can't figure out where it should go from the wiring diagram.

Don't mean to sound dumb, but do all fuses look OK? Use a test light to find out where the juice stops. You then should be able to find out where you no longer have it in the circuit.
