Default block differences

Okay, Does anyone even read the Small Ponies forum? ANyways. Is they're any difference between a 3.4L and a 4.0L? As far as block size and motor mount dimensions?

It depends on whcih blocks you are talking about. Are they out of a truck or are they out of something else. I am pretty sure that the Ranger 4.0 was a Mustang 3.8 that was stroked different.

Well if that's the case than the explorer 4.0 i have is also the same block. The only reason I ask is I happen to have a whole 4.0 from my explorer with every electronic piece i''d need since i have the whole ex still in my garage. And it'd double my hp. but i dunno. I Might just do 2.3 turbo.
