Angry please help i am about to burn my car!!!!!!!

I had overheating problems but I fixed them.. I left the car without running it for about two weeks. I also let the gas go near empty, when I finally fixed the overheating problems, I went to put gas because I saw that the gauge was on the red. I put gas and took it for a cruise. I saw the tach gauge give like a pulse and then the car shut off on me. I turned it on and took it home. I then tried to start it and no dice. The next morning I started it and it ran for about 2 minutes then the tach gauge pulsated again and shut off!!!!! I did smell gas, I tried to turn it on and it won't start...Can someone help I am very frustrated and I am to the point that I will burn the *****r to get rid of it!!!!!!!!!!Please Help...Could it be the fuel filter, maybe clogged??????????????????????????????

Yeah, could just be a clogged fuel filter.
Replace it. It could be as simple as that.

If that doesn't fix it, could be the FP or possibly the TFI module.

This is frustrating, but cars - even Mustangs - are machines and things break, wear out or just malfunction. It happens; stay cool.
