Default c-4

Hi all
I know after you read this post you will ask why, so it is to drive it to another state to register it. Can I bolt a C-4 tranny up to my 4banger mustang? Thanks

Depends. Does the converter & converter (bell) housing match up? I know for a fact the housing on my 3.3L is very unique, and you can't find 'em anywhere! You'll have to use a ruler and measure where the tranny bolts up, then if it does match, there shouldn't be a problem. Also, check the distance from the crossmember to the back of the engine. It should also be the same on the C4 you plan on bolting up. Good luck!

i dont believe it will work, the 4 banger is so much smaller then the 302, the bellhousing on the c4 will be much bigger, and wont fit. The bolt pattern on the 4 banger is not the same either.
