Exhaust question.

I'm wanting to put dual exhaust on my car. I was thinking about taking a gt exhaust instead of buying one of those v-6 kits. What year of cars would I need to pull off? I plan to leave the cats intact. Anything else that I might need too? Thanks for the help.

Daniel.

You can get them off a 94-98 Mustang. Have to get the H/X-pipe from either a shop or from a store. The GT on is too wide.

yea, I say run TRUE duals. Get a H-pipe and a stock GT cat-back.

I took mine to a custom exhuast shop. Straight duals from the cats back with no "H" pipe, flowmaster 40's and 3" chrome tips. It looks and sounds great!

A H-pipe is better than strait pipes because it equals out pressure. You will get better gains. Do not get to big of pips because you will also lose back pressure and lose HP.
