rewiring instrument cluster lights
sunce i cant seem to get my instruments lights working i want to run my own power to them. i was thinking :
18 gauge wire directly from battery, 5amp inline fuse, 20 amp toggle swich, then to the cluster. the questions is, does anyone know which specific wire in the back of the cluster i need to splice into? sound good?

Power is supplied to the instrument cluster lamps through the light blue/red tracer wires.

gonna give it a try, thanks for the info PKRWUD, how many of these light blue/red tracer wires are there that need to be powered? will a 5amp fuse and 20 amp switch be good? go bigger or smaller with anything?
