I want to replace the gas tank with a fuel cell. My question is,what fuel pump must I use.The car is a 85 turbo coupe Thunderbird. The engine is stock and is only run on the weekends at the track.

hmmm, the 85TC is non-intercooled right? If so then it is only pushin 145hp and 180ftlbs. That isn't much for such a heavy car. I would suggest you hold off on the fuel cell (unless mandatory by the race sanction) and spend the money on a boost controller, and a volvo ic. Also try and get an E-6 manifold v.s. the E-3 you have now. The e3 is incredibly restrictive (you can remove the turbo and port the e3 to match the turbo's exaughst inlet, you would be surprised just how small the e3 exaughst outlet hole is compared to the turbo exaughst inlet). You also may want to get a "PE" chip or a 87-88 t-bird TC computer. There are many things you can do. Sorry I got off your topic, as for the fuel pump, I figure it would stay the same, as long as you have room in the fuel cell for it, the 85 has 2 pumps. One inside the tank and one on the outside.

Well good luck.
