How can I get more out of my 6-cyl

Howdy from the Lone Star State...I have a '96 Mustang Convertible, however it seems like its not accelerating like it should. Ive had it for bout a year and a half, and I was never completely convinced that this was all it could do. My roomie has one just like it and it picks up really nice. Ive just recently had a tune up. While I was in the shop they also replaced the Mass air flow sensor, and the crankshaft pulley. I also had the injectors cleaned out. I admit I know zero bout cars. Id appreciate any cues that would help my little pony.....thanks ya'll.......... http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif))

A 3.55 or 3.73 ratio ring and pinion gear would do wonders for your acceleration.
About $400. installed.

An initial timing advance is free and will also do a lot for your pick-up.

ok, this is probably not what you want to hear, but I HAD a 95 v6 until about 3 weeks ago. I had started to modify it, when a great deal on a GT came along. So, I sold the V6 (which I loved) and got the V8. I can not even begin to explain the difference. I sometimes have trouble believing that I was ever happy with my v6. They look good, and handle well, but if you want to increase acceleration, in all honesty, look for a bargain, and get a GT. I've already forgotten about my v6. Trust me.
