Question Is there a power increase with the A/C Delete

Will there be a power increase if i remove the A/C compressor and it's components? Also, is this relatively easy to do? Aany help will be greatly appreciated.

You get rid of the weight off the nose of your car, and "some" (debatable how much) parasitic loss off your rotating assembly.

p.s. I have a delete kit for sale. Contact me privately in an email. mailto:drudis@ford.com

(Very similar to this one pictured)

do get the FMS power steering pump relocation kit..this rotates the power steering pump upwards to where the a/c sits now..this is a factory peice used in non a/c used cars and is only $45 from Downs Ford...do not get a March idle pully to replace the place were the a/c used to be..its a waste of $$..when you get the FMS part you will just need to ge a new legth belt with will be the one that came with non a/c mustangs

I would just get the kit from FMS you can get it from anderson ford it is like 30 or 40 bucks and it moves the power stearing up you will just need a belt. you really wont feal any more power. there will just be a weight loss. because the ac pullie spinns freely.

I've got the FMS a/c elim kit, but I plan on getting the flaming river manual steering kit and removing the pump etc. Will I just need a new belt or do you think I'll need a whole new kit now?
