Default Hurst Shifter

I'd like to fit a Hurst shifter because I friend recommended it. I have never done such a thing but I am willing to have a go. How do I find out which Hurst Shifter is the right one for my V6 2000MY Mustang 3.8l?

First of all. The GT and V-6 trans is the same. So as long as you get one for a T-5 transmission you are kool. If you have a manual hurst is not that good to go with. Steeda Tri-Ax is the better way to go or B&M rippershifter. If it is automatic than hurst is alright.

Thanks. Parts are on order - I found a site with some install instructions so I am going out in the cold now to have a look.
I have a manual trans so I bought the Tri-Ax shifter.

The Steeda shifter comes with instrutions. It is very simple to put in. I have the Tri-Ax and it is the best. It takes about a month to losen up. It gets smooth after you use it awile. Good Luck with it.
