Injection is nice but...I'd rather be blown !
Now we've decided to go ahead with a new V-6 in our stang, does anyone know of a good supercharger kit for the 3.8?

I've read some very nice things about procharger. The charger for the V-6 sounds like an awesome product and is also new to their company. Honestly, now that I think about it........I don't know if they make one for the pre-99's?? Also I've heard Vortech makes a very good one for the V-6's.

Prochargers 94-02 SC is awsome. Great things said about it. The best gains you can get from one for a v-6.

No offense Godstang, but the powerdyne HO is the god of all v-6 stangs hehe the regular procharger for the v-6 bumps horsepower to a respectable 290 hp, and the High Output bumps it to 350 horspower think about that....light wieght stang with 350 can you see me drooling? Also Vortech offers both 99+ and 94-98 superchargers. I think powerdyne is only for 99+ hope that helped

I have an arguement (disbelief) of any company claiming more than 50% gains in HP with an SC. It's atmospherically impossible, it has alot to do with pressures and stuff like that but I can't remember the exact arguement. Usually, the better SC's on the market are a good 40% gain or so. I'd love to know what a company does to pull 350hp out of a 190hp engine with just an SC????!

You may not believe it, but I don't know why you wouldn't? It all comes down to boost, supercharger have endless capacity when it comes to making horsepower!!! Funny cars make around 6,000 horsepower with boost?? The powerdyne HO puts boost to 11 psi, most others for V-8's keep boost to around 9 psi. Therefor with 11 psi they are able to pump the horsepower from 193 to 350!!! Hope this helps!!

See only Prochager and Vortech make the charger for my 94 v-6. The ProCharger is better for my car than the vortech. So for me Procharger is God till someone makes a better one than a get a new God. Or till I graduate and get the 351W (my present).
