Lug Nuts

Just picked up a set of 15" turbines...Not sure of which kind of lug nut to use....conical, tampered, short...etc...anybody know?

Anyone correct me if I am wrong.

But just use the ones u already have, it shouldn't make a difference, both wheels (if u are using your stock wheels) were from ford so I should think that the lug nuts for both would be the same. On a personal not, I switched my 10hole rims to American racing 5-stars and am using the same lugs, haven't had any problems.

Can't use the same lugs. The ones that I have are smaller open ended lugs. It seems that the turbines use a longer closed end lug that shows through the cap.

Technically, yes. On stock applications turbines use lugs that extend further out; however, you can use the standard lugs. I used them when I put turbines on my 1988 LX 2.3L and didn't have any problems. If you are worried about taking the center caps off, you can reach inside the 4 lug holes, forefinger and thumb, and pull them off. Works pretty well if you ask me.

Not to mention looking cleaner, in my opinion, than some chrome lookin lugnuts sticking out into view.

Picked up a set of short shank 1/2 lug nuts for the turbines...thanks for the input
