Rear End Specs
 

hello everyone!

i purchased an '05 Mustang, V6, 5 speed, convertable this past spring. we've been driving it all summer and have had a great time with it. i've done a couple of modification including a cold air kit and new muffler. just out of curiosity sake, i'm wondering how do i find out what type of rear end gear is in the car? the owner's manual lists the transmission as a 5R55S but there is no other drive train info. any suggestions as to where i can get this info?

your best bet would be doing some research online,and the easyest way would be to call the ford dealer with the last 8#'s of the vin..i would guess a 3:55 gear
