Winter driving Question

Hi,

I live in a snowy climate. Does anybody have any advice for driving a Stang on slippery roads? Is it worth it to buy snow tires for rear-wheel drive? Please help. thanks

I drove my 5.0 83GLX convt one winter I had no choice.I had studded winter tires on it and 2 sand bags in the trunk It would be usless without them,I think you wouuld find a signifgant difference with a good set of snow tires I know I did.

Move to Texas, we only have to put up with that about once every 3 or 4 years :)

Harold, your funny. By the way I tried the Zaino products they work great. I love that gloss spray.

Re: Winter driving Question

Thats what I plan on doing. I just drove in a complete downpour of rain and had total control. I've heard some people say that Mustangs are bad in the rain - I did not have that experience at all. My Mustang did come with traction control. When I had my Tacoma I used to hydroplane in the rain all the time. I am really pleased the way my Mustang handled in rain.
