tech. auto/manuel swap

i just bought a 95 v6 mustang and was wondering about
the trans....i have done conversions on supras before
but dont know about the stang yet. So my question is
what years where the transmissions buit the same, will
the ecu handle the swap or will i have to swap that for a
5speed ecu as well. will there be any problems with the
axle ex. "too short/ long" when replacing with new trans.
also how are the gear ratios compared between auto/manu?
will there be any noticable difference.

also....
is there a FMRM (ford mustang repair manuel) online that i could
look at? I know that that there might be cause theres one
for supras, so why not mustangs.....

thanks in advance

The 5-speed for the 95 is the T-5 transmission. It is the same one that is in the 94-95 GT. I think 94-98 V6 5- speed transmissions are interchangable. You will haveto change the drive shaft because they do not have the same number of teeth. Not sure if there is a manual online but there is the Haynes manual that you can get at your local car parts store. Hope this helps.
