Default ProCharger or Vortech?

My buddy has a 01 Cobra. He wants a blower but is stuck between a ProCharger P-1SC Stage II w/ 3-Core Intercooler $3800(polished) and a Vortech E-Trim $4700 (polished). We have read about the problems with the procharger inlet tube but thats not a big deal he just wants to know if its worth the extra $900 to get an E-trim over the intercooler P-1SC. I dont see many 01 Cobra owners with the E-trim but see a few with the ProCharger so if anyone has either and has some dyno numbers of theirs or stories could you please share? We are right now leaning to the procharger because it seems to be a solid piece and will save him some money. Thanks everyone your help really makes it easier to choose what to get without thinking "did I make a mistake on that part"

I'd go with a Vortech, I've seen too many problems with ATI's units.

but what the hell is a E-trim?

Hmmm. If it were me, I'd definitely be looking in the intercooled ATI Procharger system instead of Vortech. Truthfully, I don't know much about Vortech or the "E-trim" . And, I wasn't aware of all the problems with ATI's units (not saying tireburner's wrong, I just didn't know).... Maybe I've just been out of the loop too long.... But I've done a lot of looking into procharger blowers and have been very impressed with the #s claimed and real life testimonies. Seems like many of the big dogs run prochargers too.

I know a lot of people (both via the internet and in person) that have had problems with there prochargers but I also know a few who have had no problems. But, with Vortech you VERY rarely hear about anyone having problems.
