rearend?

What size rear end does a 94-95 v6 have? I always thought it was 8.8 with 2.73 gears, but an artcile said different.

I was under the impression that the v6 had the 7.5 with 2:73 gears and the gt/cobra had the 8.8 with 2.73 or 3.27 gears respectively
