Default removing post in the mass air

has anybody removed the post in the mass air cylinder? I am thinking about doing that this weekend and was wondering if it is easy or a pain in the a$$.
Thanks

I have removed the post from the mass air and followed the instructions from www.mustangworld.com in the how to section. not a real big advantage, but small increase in throttle resp!

i used a hacksaw blade and a dremmel tool.
it took about 2 hours to complete, that is from the time of removal to reinstall.
