If you find an SVO why not just keep the SVO? Its worth more than an lx and it allready has all the suspension. As far as putting in a v8, sometimes it is just cheaper, and much simpler to buy a v8 car. I had a 4 cylinder stang when i was 18 and went through the same thing of wanting a v8 in it, but soon realized might as well get a GT.
