help me out on this one....i have a 93 mustang LX and i was talking to a guy who was telling me if i install a better exhaust system ill save gas mileage....is this true for an LX? would installing a better exhaust system save gas? also...do you think putting a saleen spoiler on my car would work? would it fit? thanx

Yes, installing a new exhaust will give you better gas milage, but only if you increase the piping. Whether that's by keeping the single exhaust system with a larger diameter pipe, or upgrading to a dual system, which I've heard you can do on a Fox body LX. As far as the Saleen spoiler goes, I think you should do what you like, but it might look cool. Especially with dual chrome tips out the back...
