I want to change a 4-Cyl to a 8-Cyl
[FONT=century gothic][COLOR=royalblue]
Good evening all. This is my first post on this message board. We have an'89 Ford Mustang LX with a 4 Cyl motor and auto tranny We want to convert it over to an 8-Cyl with an automatic. (but Manual valve body) I'm hoping I'll be able to find explicit direction on how to go about this. I would be greatful if anyone has information Thanks in advance.

swap tech
Hi '89LX-Gal,
Here is a link that details the steps for a V-8 conversion of a late model Mustang: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/T...efs/v8/v8.html It is for a carbureted engine, so there are some differences if you choose to use Electronic Fuel Injection. It should get you started. |
