Default no fuel?

i have 88 2.3 pony with efi. i dont seem to be getting any fuel. i can spray starter fluid in throttle body and car will run until starter fluid gone then dies. where are the fuel filters and can i check fuel pump? I think it is on fuel tank, yes?

Yes Watson, the fuel pump is in the gas tank. The fuel filter is right in front of the gas tank. You can take the outlet line of the filter off (the line going to the front of the car) and turn the key on, and see if fuel is coming out of it. If theres no fuel coming out your pump is not working. If there is fuel coming out your problem is somewhere else............
