Question intake quesion

i just read a post about removing the air silencer and was wondering how hard it is to do. If possible explain a little in detail how to do it, an if it is a noticable in take off or just sound.

Also someone said they bought a mass air senson. What does that do, and how much do they help and cost. Would that be close to getting a new mass air filter?

Well i have the two air intake mods and i have found a lil different. I have the Intake silencer takin off and the air resonator mod and it sounds so cool. To remove the silencer i think all i did as romove the the box the filter goes in and unbolt the one bolt and its off very very easy. And to do the Resonator mod all you do is take off the bigger black pipe between the TB and MAC that is about a foot long and pull the lil pipe out of it or get a 3 inch PVC pipe and put it there. Hope this helps Wayne
