hissing noise

hello fellow stang lovers.
can someone tell what's the hissing noise that is constantly emanating from my fuel tank or in the area of my fuel tank?
Is it some thing I need to worry about?

does it only happen while the car is on? if so it may be that the fuel pump is just being loud. my friends stang and my dads f-150 both have loud pumps.

yes, it does happen only when the car is on.
if it's the pump, does that mean it's going bad? or is it just loud as you mentioned earlier?

dads is just loud being doing it since we got the truck in 95.
