Default 2.3 LT No Spark from primary coil.

I have no spark from the primary coil , and cant figure out why. I have traced out the wiring diagram. I switched out the T.F.I module and I still only have spark from the exhuast coil. Both plugs going into the coil have power and are plugged all the way in. I even put some of that white grease on the contacts. and still nothing . When I replaced the timing belt I may have moved it a few degrees. Would the timing being off by 10 - 15 ATC cause the computer to read wrong from the crank position sensor , therefore causing the coil not to fire on the intack side.
