Default transmission question

i have a 2000 6 cyl.conv. mustang...it has 60,000 miles on it...and at the 60,000 service they said i needed a new clutch.$900....it isn't covered by my extended warranty...does this sound reasonable?...seems very expensive, and too soon for a new clutch....but it's my 1st mustang and i just don't know...would appreciate any advise..thanks...peace p

Default Re: transmission question

It all depends on how you drive but yes this does sound reasonable. Almost nothing is covered under extended warranty.
