split fires also can burn out some ignition components. as for headers and dual exaughst that is a waste too. just port your exaughst manifold and get a good flowing muffler, you may want to remove your cats (if you can get away with it) also you can port/polish your upper/lower air intake manifold, remove air-silencer, bump timing up. and 3.73 gears these would be the best investment.
But in my own opinion just drop a 2.3L turbo in there. I am doing this with my 88lx got the engine and everything needed to make it run for $500 and it bolts right in and it can run with the 5.0's Brad. |
