Ther are a lot of people with usefull info for you at elerts.com group; rrax mustangs.
Highly recommended sight for factual knowledge. I prefer coupes for race cars, but I am putting a 1985 Cougar 2.3 turbo in my 1987 Mustang LX Convertable if all goes well this winter.
