Help me on my 3.8L stang!!!!!!!!!!
I have an automatic 1999 3.8L mustang. I want to get a supercharger for it. Would Vortech be the best brand? Also, what all can I do to my V6 stang to increase horsepower and enhance overall performance. I want to get the most horsepower I can possibly have on the 3.8L. Help me please. Thanx

Vortech is really one of the only big names that I know of that make blowers for 6. You can put on true duals and short thorw shifter and port and polish your heads and under drive pullies a new rear end and K&N air filter. You would be running 13s-14s with that. Also a new cam.

Go to v6power.com
They have some good ideas there but mostly, find the link to super six's website. They modify stock heads, intakes etc to make them flow better, supposed to be good for 70 hp. Add your supercharger on top of that and you can make good power. For the money you will spend you might as well get a v8 though Also, rear end gears will help. |
