Stroking the 3.8 V6 with an F150?
I have heard that the F150 has the same engine as the V6's. The only difference is that the engine has been stroked. The F150 is a 4.2L, and produces 205 HP. Does anybody know anything else about this, and what other changes would be neccessary after stroking it?

Hey Brett,
It's me again. How'd it go with exhaust, anyway? I don't know much about the stroked 4.2L engine, but I know where you can find some info on it. Check out the website called "Six in a Mustang". They have a section called "Custom 3.8's". Click on the one called "Project Sixpack" This is an example of a stroked V-6. The info's a little old , but it's informative. I'll E-mail you the URL, in case you don't have it already. I hope this helps you out, bud. |
