2000 v-6 computer programming ???
i bought a 2000 v6 mustang(water damaged) it came with no keys i've been through this before and know that ford has to make 2 keys just to program it to work. i had a locksmith make a blank key which the car would crank with, i changed the instr. cluster and drained all fluids etc. everything worked fine. i had ford do the keys and they said the keys were programmed but just cranked the car and it wouldnt start. i towed the car back to my shop and checked for fuel psi the car started and i ran it until oper. temp everything seemed fine. i shut it off and it started back up. then 5 min later it would'nt start. my question is that i changed the pcm and it still didnt start so i put the orig back have i messed up my keys. |
