Default How do i get this 95 3.8 lighter?

This years car curb weight is 3077 lbs. Is there anyway i could lose a few lbs to get it a little quicker? I could take the spare tire out, but it doesnt seem to weigh very much. Any ideas?

You could always put fiber glass hood on. Not much weight though. Take out Seats but you lose passangers.

What i did with my GT was i pulled out the carpet and ripped off the heavy insulation attached to the carpet, i also took a heat gun and a scraper and took all the "tar" insulation off of the floor. I probably lost 40 lbs from that and the with the carpet in you can't tell i took out anything except for the increased road noise and heat transfer from the exhaust, also taking out the spare tire/jack and carpet mat will lighten your car. any little bit helps.
