Another Question...
Whenever I press on the gas, the car does not take off right away. It kinda revs up, then jerks and runs fine until another complete stop. I have been told that the timing is off. When I look in a manual, it says possibly a oil soaked clutch plate or bad clutch... I am not automotive guru. nor do I have a lot of money to be spending on a new clutch. Someone help..

You neglected to give any information about your car: Year, model, engine & transmission type, just for starters. It sounds like you have an automatic transmission that is in need of major repairs. If you have no real automotive experience, this is something that you'll have to trust to a transmission shop.
It won't be cheap, and you may need a rebuild, so be prepared for that. Don't put off attending to this, or it will probably die on you, usually in the worst place and at the wrong time...guaranteed. Sorry. |
