3.8 CFI & C-5 tranny....what are they worth????
Converting my re-bodied 86 LX back to an 86. As a donor car, I'm buying an 86 LX which has a 45k miles rebuilt 3.8 engine, and a 10k miles rebuilt tranny. What is a fair price for both buyer AND seller for these two items??
I'm a V8 guy, and have no clue.... ------------------ You must be FAST... cuz you wuz FLYIN'... when I PASSED YOU! My "BARNEY" car |

with rebuilt, low demand parts you're not likely to get much for them since there's no gaurantee that they were rebuilt correctly. You should be able to get like $400 for both if you're lucky (not a high demand for that combo you have). Most early 80's ford cars came with the C5 and alot of other fox bodies came with the 3.8L as well, but most people with older fox cars that would need those parts are likely to be cheap with their car anyway. Good luck, hope this helps and doesn't dissapoint you too much.
