Drop in a 2.3l turbo. Your car will fly and its easily upgradeable. It also responds well to Nitrous (or so I've heard). Its also a much easier swap then to a v8 because you can use the same tranny and rear end. Good luck!

Cool

the biggest i,ve seen is the 351 windsor put in the 4banger bod but the 302 will slide right in the 4bangers were made to be replaced with the 302 and you can use your rear end for a while until you can upgrade i have done a lot of 4banger to v8 enginswaps and it is very easy a child could do it, i usually get some one else to do the wiring but its really simple if your four banger is carberated

You can get a 5.0 just about anywhere. But you are gonna have to spend alot of money and time doing the swap. You will need a new bellhousing, tranny modified, new motor mounts, crossmember, exhuast, wireing. It's just not a direct bolt in. You might wanna think it over. Also for just about any model of engine check out Jasper.

I think that the 2 chamber Flowmasters are pretty loud, also the MACs are loud too. You won't see much of a gain with just the catback, I would also get a off-road h-pipe.

If you have to pass emissions it's not legal, but who cares?? Just switch that stock one back on when the time comes. All it does is emliminate the stock 4 cats on the h-pipe, by doing that you get better flow so more hp.
