Just got a Mustang
Hi everyone... I just bought a 2001 Mustang and was wondering what kind of add ons I could put on it. I've noticed that a lot of people have K&N air filters. Is that something I should put in? I'm interested in increasing performance and generally just making my car look better. I have at most about $800 to use. Any tips or ideas are welcome.

Upgrade to Dual Flowmasters...or if you feel like spending most of you 800 get a Borla. Very worthwhile mod. Looks better than the single pipe too.

I agree go with flows Borla does not sound good on a 6. Gears would be good also.

Borla, way over priced for what you get. Your just paying for a trendy name. Flowmasters on a 6 don't sound plesent either. I would have to say I've heard good things about Magnaflow exhaust on 6er's and people loving them. Check out the customer reviews, Magnaflow

Instead of just getting a K&N, should I shell out an extra $30 and get a Demolet Densecharger? I've heard some pretty good reviews on it. Also, are they hard to install?

Get some dual flowmasters for sure!! and if you can some MAC headers would be cool and a cool air intake isn't that much either. You might want to look into a power chip also I recommend the FORD CHIP, but if you are going to be doing a lot of different mods you might want to hold off, so you don't have to pay for it to be reprogrammed and I think there are some places out there that will reprogram for free as needed.
See ya, Karen
