3.73's
Anyone runs these in a v-6? What was the change in gas milage and rpm range from stock. Where you happy with the change. I am looking to change from a 7.5" to a 8.8" and put 3.73's in. This is a daily driver and I need the 30 MPG I am getting. I do not want to fall to far off this amount of MPG.

I put in 3:73's and the 8.8 rear end last year...i didnt notice much difference in gas mileage. BUt at that time i still had the blower installed, so i was getting somewhere around 19-22 mpg in Chicago. I'd say go for them, i almost got the 3.55's, but am really happy with the 3:73's...unfortunatley, this fall, they are coming off and getting sold for money. By this time next summer my V6 will be bone stock again...after running low 14's

GodStang - don't know about RPM change, but MPG issue depends on the type of driving. City driving will be about the same because you get in to the power band faster so it equals out. Highway driving will be worse because you are running at a higher RPM to maintain the same speed. The difference should not be much. Similar to the difference in MPG when traveling at 70 compared to 60.

You get 30 MPG....Most I have seen out of mine is 25 on a trip..... you would have to drive VERY VERY easy to get that with a 94 and those mods
