Starter problems?
Hey there I am looking for help if possible on why my buddies 2.3ltr stang's starter seems to run another 1/2 min or so after started? He has put in 2 new starters and each one works but grinds like he is still trying to start it while started for a bit afterwards...There is a remote car starter in this stang so I am assuming this to be the issue. There is a purple wire off of coil where it can't seem to be followed anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been searching for 2 days with nothing...Thanks,

While it's happening try smacking the starter solenoid, it may be sticking when activated.
