Won't Fire
89, 2.3, LX. Engine cranks over but there is no fire at the plugs. I connected a plug to the ignition coil and there is no fire coming out there. I did the same on my Bronco and the plug does fire on it. I swapped the coils as they are the same and the LX coil worked fine. I checked to see if I had voltage coming into the coil and it is fine. I'm not getting the pulse from the secondary coil in the HEI I'm guessing. Anyone got any other suggestions?

my 86 mustang is having the same prob. i went down n talked to my fellow mustang owner who happens to be a mecanic. he told me to check the spark plug wires, the distributor, and the roter. i have not had a chance to do so, (damb jobs) but if this works i will get back at you, or if you have a chance to do so before me.
