Post New rear end, stock driveshaft???

Can I use my original stock driveshaft with the Currie 9" rear I just ordered? I didn't even think about that until about a half hour after I got off the phone ordering it! I'm pretty sure I will be able to. I've never heard about having to swap the driveshaft. TIA.

Thumbs down

I hope you're wrong Stang Runner! That will suck if I have to get a new driveshaft. Anyone know for sure?

It depends on which yoke is on it. More then likely it will fit. If not hit the junk yards.

Question

I have an 8" rear right now. And it's a 9" Currie that I ordered. So the yoke's probably different.

And that's the bad thing, the 1 junkyard in my town has crap for Mustangs. I think they have a couple 65 or 66s. They do have a few Cougars though, not sure on the years of them.

So does anyone know for sure what I'm gonna have to do here?
