Cool 2.3 air filter replacement

I'm setting up a '91 2.3 EFI for a local stock car track. It has to remain stock, but the air box & filter can be changed. I have had no luck in info for placing a K&N filter at the end of the mass air sensor. Can anyone offer some help????? Thanks a bunch.

I know where you can get a drop in K&N if thats what you want. Go your search engine and type "Performance International". Go to the site, its an online parts store, I've ordered a couple things from them.
