Oil Sending Unit
OK getting the stang back today!! Had to have the flywheel replaced and a new gasket on my oil pan. However before my stang got sick the oil pressure needle would for no reason drop to nothing, just botom out. then would be fine again for a few min then drop off again. My friend sugested that it was the oil sending unit and it is easy to do. I have a 89 lx 4cyl conv. Thanks in advance for the help.

For some reason, the sending units leave a lot to be desired. I've replaced 3 on my '89. You should get a gauge and check your actual pressure to make sure it's within limits.
