Default Evap Purge Valve Fault P1443

The ODB-II came up with this error code, P1443 which is a PURGE VALVE FAULT or EVAPP CONTROL FAILURE. My car has had the check engine light on and off for a couple of months but it seems to run fine.

Does anybody know anything about this valve is located? I've tracked the tubing that goes from the intake manifold to the fuel tank and can't locate it.

After swapping the valve, do I have to take the car to a shop or dealer for them to reset it in order to get rid of the light?

Thanks in advance

Default

To clear the code just unhook battery cable for a few minutes. That will clear the code.
