Default Tranny leaking at base of dipstick

Could someone please help me?

I live in an apartment and my landlord is mad at me for working on my car in the parking lot. So I don't get many opportunities to work on my car.

I replaced a C4 tranny for my 65 Mustang and now it keeps leaking trans fluid at the base of the dipstick tube. A very small flow, but in a month period it leaks about 2 and a half quarts!! How can this happen? There shouldn't be 2 and a half quarts of fluid even near the O-Ring. Is there pressure pushing the fluid up and out past the O-Ring? I changed the O-Ring and still it leaks.

It drives fine if it wasn't for this amazing, unstoppable, slow leak. Any suggestions. I've had it.

Thank you guy,
Richard

I forgot to add, the one month period of it leaking, it was completely parked without driving.
