2.3L to 5.0L swap
So I have just purchased the motor and tranny to put into my 89 2.3L. I will be throwing the 5.0l in sometime next week. The rear end wont be able to handle the power of the new motor, correct? Also what other modifications will i have to make in order for this project to be complete? Obviously the motor and tranny, rearend, and maybe even the suspension? Any thing i am missing? Appreciate the help in advance.

motor mounts. suspension should be able to handle it. but i would upgrade. i still need to upgrade mines lol. umm...i think the driveshaft is different...maybe? (not sure). and the rear end, i upgraded from the 7.5 or whatever the 4 popper uses to the 8.8 out of a gt. and maybe the computer. i dunno about that. i went carbed when i swapped. good luck!
