OK first, disconnect your negative battery terminal. Next, look on your hose between your intake box, and your throttle body, you will see a big oval thing with the ford logo on it. Pull it off(easier said than done). Now look inside, and you will see a muffler type devices inside. Take blade, and cut the hell out of them, until they come out, pull the end caps off after you cut around the inside. Next, put it back on, and unless you are very fast, this will have taken about half an hour, which is long enough for your computer to reset. Hook everything back up, and hear, and feel the difference. Reply and tell me how it went, if you would do s.

By them, I am referring to the two, oppisite facing, muffler type devices that constrict a 3" hole to about 1". You only have to cut them in a circle, so you can pull a piece out, and then with some force, you can pull out both end caps to make the whole thing sound, and look hollow!

No more than 10 hp, but when you get a K&N, and do this at the same time, you will be able to feel the difference. Also, my favorite part about doing his is the deeper tone that yo will get after doing this

Is your 98 a V-6??????? If it is, go to www.mustangworld.com, and look in the how to section, and it will guide you perfectly!
