air filter?

im upgrading my 89 5.0 lx to a conical air filter...if i gave my old K&N stock replacement one to my friend with a 2.3L stang of the same year would it fit?? thx.

Not sure. Check out www.knfilters.com. They have an application guide that's pretty easy to use.
