lower ratio rear gears, underdrive pulleys, convert to duel exhaust, and a V6 supercharger

You could start off with a set of 3.73's, H-pipe, duel exhuast, I think they make pullies too. You could step it up and go with a supercharger or nitrous. A shift improver kit, and if you really have money to spend, a converter.

A full exhaust (which is what will give you power) can get up to a thousand dollars. You'll notice more of a performance increase from gears, for less than 500.

Default engine mods?

Are you looking for engine mods as well as superficial stuff?

Cool

I have a v6 stang also and I got a true dual exaust on it with two 2chamber flowmasters. and it cost me $410 to get it installed. what they did was they cut the y adapter from the cat backs and they made a pipe from one cat back to the muffler and they made another pipe from the other cat back to the other muffler. I chosed Flowmaster the 2 chamber. U should get a Throttle Body it will cost you from $260-$290. Then get a Cold Air Intake it will cost you $180. Then get some underdrive pulleys they will cost you around $150.
Also get a Diablo Sport Chip it will cost you $250 already programed. Then get some 3.73 gears you can the ford racing kit for $250.

These guys all have good ideas. As far as tru duals do NOT I repeat do not get it custom made you will sound like and outboard motor on a bassboat if you like that than go for it. I got my h-pipe from MAc for 159 and put flows on it. I started my buddies 98 cobra next to it and it sounded idenical until you get above 3000 RPM. Also get underdrive pullies from MAC. Get 3.73 gears but make sure they are from Ford or you will have problems. Any more questions email me _US_MALE@yahoo.com
