Unhappy someone help PLEASE

OK here it is, I have a 89 stang LX convert and lights keep flickering out and then dying on me. Now from what I have read it is due to the fog lights drawing too many amps over the wire. so would it work to remove the fogs? I already have another set that I have on remote. I just want to know if that would cure the problem. Thanks for any advice

Kevin

Which ligths flicker out? The head lights, tail light, interior, dash? I going to assume its your headlights. Does anything else dim or just the headlights, does it repeat itself or just this time? If it dims all the time you probley have a bad batt. or altanator. What is you fog light wired to for the turn on feed? If you got it spliced into your head light harness this could cause the problem. So i am correct that you have two sets of fog lamps. Try wiring them both to the remote switch. If it stiil does try killing those lights alltogether.
