Default Used brake rotors?

Is it a good idea to get used rotors?

I saw them on StangParts.com for $20 ea. They obviously need to be turned, but isn't there a bearing race in them? I'm not sure if a brake lathe is precise enough for that (they appeared to have a layer of rust covering the entire rotor).

I'd like to go with used rotors because of the price difference ($100-$130 each for new).

Thanks,

Rich D.

I got new rotors for like 57 a piece at Checker auto. For a 4 lug 88 GT.

They're probably fine as long as they are thick enough to turn and are not gouged up, inside or out....if stangparts is selling them there's a 99% chance they are good.

However like dark50 said....you can find them cheaper. I'm personally not a fan of used parts in any way shape or form, but I'd probably use some used parts before I used certain rebuilt ones!
